He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Brouwer; his sister Ans; and his parents, Wilfred and Petronella (Van). He is survived by: his children, Bob Brouwer (Karen) of St. Thomas, Rhonda Banks of London and Grant Brouwer of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Paige, Ian, Jaimie, Aaron, Noah and Myra Brouwer; his siblings, Alie Den Ouden (Theo), Bert Brouwer (Christa), Tonnie Schreuder (Bertus), Lia Brouwer, Riet van (Marco) of Wagt and Toos Van Wychen (Martin); and his siblings-in-law, Trina Nagy (Lloyd) and Gerard Rieger.
