It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Buchner of Aylmer, Ontario, born in Saint-Thomas, Ontario, who passed away on July 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, David Van Velzer and Karen Willsey; and her parents, Stanley Velzer and Dorothy Van Velzer (Campbell). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Buchner; her children, Janice Vandenwyngaert (Steve), Julie Bossuyt (Craig) and Jody Smith; her grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, Jackie, Garrett, Katie, Nathan, Adam, Courtney and Taylor; her great grandchildren, Max, Josie, Hunter and Greyson; and her siblings, Rick Van Velzer, Kevin Van Velzer, Penny Hill (Gary) and Vickie Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
