He was predeceased by: his son Bernhard Bergen; and his parents, Bernhard Bergen and Helena Bergen (Neudorf). He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Bergen (Loewen); and his children, John Bergen (Maria), Betty Klassen (John), Herman Bergen (Trudy), Helena Bauman (Merle), Jake Bergen (Marie), Susana Bergen and Judith Krahn (John). He is also survived by brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
