He was predeceased by: his siblings, Fred, Ralph Laur and Myrna Barham; his sister-in-law Betty Laur; his great grandchildren, Emmett and Jojo; and his parents, Wynfred Laur and Stella Laur (Jackson).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Laur (Ratcliffe); the fathers of children, Gary (Joan) of Aylmer, Jim (Ann) of Aylmer, Randy (Heidi) of Aylmer and Rob (Kim) of Aylmer; his daughters, Rosemary Ball (Bill), Gwenda McConnell (Todd) of Aylmer and Jackie Muller (Pete) of Dorchester; his siblings, Marilyn Gillies (Bob) of Aylmer and Larry Laur of London; his siblings-in-law, Ann Laur, Bruce Barham, Helen Siple (Raymond), Verna Jean McIntyre (late Bruce), Mildred Parkin (Fred) and Bill Ratcliffe (Judy); his parent-in-law Jannette Ratcliffe of Woodstock; and his grandchildren, Angela (Mike), Jeff (Talya), Jodi (Matt), Trevor, Brent (Tovah), Dennis, Natalie (Evan), Sam (Jamie), Sabrina (Ron), Stephanie (Brent), Bobby (Brittany), Jamie Lynn (Wally), Leslie (Anthony), Nicole, Katy, Bud (Kendall), Cory (Lindsay), Hilary, Tony and Krissy. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
