She was predeceased by: her son Tom Mervis; her siblings, Mary Palmer, Marcel and Maurice Van Hende; and her parents, Rene Hende and Zulma Van Hende (Banckaert).
She is survived by: her husband Henry Mervis; her children, Linda DeMunck (Gabe) of Burford and Ron Mervis (Lisa) of Port Stanley; her grandchildren, Jason (Janelle), Sandra (Shone) and Christine (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Carson, Lauren, Skyler and Spencer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
