She was predeceased by: her sons, Dwayne and Robert; her parents, Wierd Hoogsteen and Jantje Hoogsteen; and her sister-in-law Aafke Hoogsteen.
She is survived by: her husband Fred; her son Darryl (Sheri); her grandchildren, Deven and Megan; and her siblings, Ted Hoogsteen (Jayne), Wayne Hoogsteen, Corrie Hooghiem (Jack), Betsy Dieleman (Case), Stuart Hoogsteen (Mary Lou) and Theresa Nixon.
