He is survived by: his wife Anna Friesen (Froese); his children, Kathy Wall (John), John Friesen (Katie), Pedro Friesen (Nettie) and Nancy Thiessen (Johnny); his grandchildren, Kayla, Cordell, Travis, Toby, Amanda of Tyler, J. J and Isabelle; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Scarlett; and his siblings, John, Peter, George, Abe, Mary, Anna, Aganetha and Helena. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
