He was predeceased by: his grandson Alex; and his parents, Cornelius Meurs and Theodora Meurs (Leenders). He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmina Meurs (VanDyck); his children, Marlene Meurs (Ken) of St. Thomas and Dave Meurs (Kitty) of Thamesford; his grandchildren, Melissa, Danielle, Nicole, David (Lexi) and Devin (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Jared (Stephanie), Jordan, Grady, Ryder, Reese, Rya, Lenix and McKenna; and his siblings, Theo (Dory), Piet, Ben (Lien) and Thea Severin (Martin). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
