She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harry Knibbe; her children, Anthony (Kristine) of Barrie, Mike (Tanya) of Chatham, Jamie (Amy) of St. Thomas and Amy Voortman (Benj) of St. George; her grandchildren, Annaka, Markus, Payton, Breya, Aleah, David, Blair, Adam, Judah and Reed; her siblings, Jake (Ann), Jenny Vanderveen (George), Martha Sikkens (Luke), Geraldine Bouwers (John), Sid (Jeannette), Liz Zantingh (Bruce), Henry (Sue), John and Jeff (Marcia); and her parents, Hendrick Horinga and Betty Horinga (Hoiting).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church (194 South Street W, Aylmer, ON N5H1S4).
