He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Drenth (Friend); his sister Geertje; and his parents, Hendrik Drenth and Harmke Drenth (Smallenbroek). He is survived by: his children, Christey-Ann Veldman (Ed) of Lethbridge, Gwen Drenth (Scott Johnson) of Cambridge and Julia Smit of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Melissa, Janelle (Jordan), Michael (Kristi), Scott (Ashley), Kurtis (Michelle), Dylan (Dakota) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Caleb, Liam, Sarah and Taya; and his siblings, Jake, John (Doreen) and Janet McIntyre. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
