He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ron, Rod and Royce; and his parents, Glen Charlton and Alice Charlton (Welch).
He is survived by: his spouse Jessie Charlton (Shively); his children, Julie Cassidy (Joe) of St. Thomas and Chris Charlton (Tracy) of Sarnia; his grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel (Amanda) and Luke (Jamie); and his sister Kathryn Rickwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
