We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, Bert Bouma of Aylmer, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Bert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Petrus (Peter) and Aleida Nooren (John) of St Thomas; his friend Mary Rose Terry of Aylmer; and his parents, Felix Bouma and Aleida Bouma (Kleinhoven).
He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth (Liz) and Thoonen (late Jerry Thoonen) of Aylmer; and his brother-in-law John Nooren of St Thomas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
