She was predeceased by: her brothers, Nick, Jan, Clarence and Gerald; and her parents, Klaas Friend and Pauline Friend (Waagenaar).
She is survived by: her spouse Chris Drenth; her children, Christey-Ann Veldman (Ed) of Lethbridge, Gwen Drenth (Scott Johnson) of Cambridge and Julia Smit of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Melissa, Janelle (Jordan), Michael (Kristi), Scott (Ashley), Kurtis (Michelle), Dylan (Dakota) and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Naomi, Caleb, Liam and Sarah; her siblings, Gay Roskamp, Nancy Friend and John Friend (Karen); and her sisters-in-law, Lydia and Joyce.
