He was predeceased by: his siblings, Aganetha, Helena, Maria, Katharina, Anna, Elizabeth, Sara, Peter, Cornelius and Franz; and his parents, Peter Klassen and Anna Klassen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Klassen; his children, Lydia Teichroeb (David), Herman (Jan), Rodney (Shila), Melinda Doan (Rob) and Darryl (Joy); his grandchildren, Shelby, Jackson, Caleb, Benjamin, Jamey, Ivan, Kira, Alanna, Luke, Sawyer, Julia and Simon; and his siblings, Susana, Agatha, David, John and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
