He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mills and Hattie Mills (Warner). He is survived by: his niece Heather Mills; his friend Diana Knapman; and his siblings, Ella Mills, Mary MacGregor (Charles), Dorothy Blair (John), Margaret Derouin (Aurelle), Florence Hill (Sydney), Earl (Betty), Howard (Marguerite) and James. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
