With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Kalashnik of Aurora, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Victor may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tatiana and Ivan; his wife Marie; his children, Adam and Christina; his brother Serge Kalashnik (Sandy); his niece Karen Goodwillie (John); and his great-nephew Owen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G6W8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
