He is survived by: his wife Isabel McArdle; his children, Gillian, Alun and Ken (Summer Elliott); his grandchildren, Natalie and Kieran Thomas McArdle; his sister Kathleen Williams; his brother-in-law Johnny; his nieces, Laura, Claire, Valerie and Ruth; and his nephew Stuart.
