He was predeceased by: his daughter Sylvia. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Steve Claydon, Derrick, Joanne Lycklama, Peter and Anna Lycklama; his grandchildren, Evan, Renee (Jacob), Kelsey (Nick), Colin, Megan, Kristin and Simon (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Noah and Micah.
In Simon's memory, donations can be made to Parkinson's Canada.
