He was predeceased by: his brothers, Tom (Madeline) and Paul (Eleanor). He is survived by: his brother Bill (Elsie); and his spouse Marlee.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G6W8). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G1N7). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery (250 Main St N, Newmarket, ON L3Y6C7).
Donations in Roy's memory would be gratefully accepted by his family to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ontario SPCA York Region.
