He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vowles and Antonia Vowles. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Holland of Aurora; his child Jordan; and his siblings, Diana (Roland Jenkins) of Brighton and England. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Donations to the Stronach Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
