As Maria Jorgina departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Maria Jorgina. Though Maria Jorgina may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband José Almeida; her children, Peter (Nadia) and Sophie; her grandson Leo; and her brothers, Jose and Manuel Arruda.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G6W8). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G1N7).
