He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Ringel; his son-in-law James Ring; his parents, Harold Lougheed and Marion Lougheed (McKenzie); his parents-in-law, Ida and Henry Ringel; his siblings, Durwin, Bevan, Brian, Elaine Stewart and Lorna Donnelly; and his siblings-in-law, Stan, Marie, Willard, Ray, Fred, Shirley Ringel and Jim Brake.

He is survived by: his children, Marion, Debbie Drodge (Gary), Lori-Lynn North (Brian) and Beth Ring; his grandchildren, Cara (David Parrot), Jordan (Stephanie), Brendan (Jen), Courtney Drodge, Philip (Angela), Jennifer North, Adam and Talitha Ring (Jake Mast); his great grandchildren, Savannah, Wesley, Wyatt Drodge, Maisie North, Levi and Mya Mast; his sibling Kyle (Cindy); his siblings-in-law, Kathleen, Alvin Stewart, Lois, Steve Donnelly, Donald Smith, Jeanne Ringel, Leone Ringel, Del, Doreen Ringel, Hudson, Marilyn Ringel and Faye Brake; and his close friend Merv Brough of Ferndale.
