Gerhard Weidelich Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gerhard Weidelich Sr. of Aurora, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Immanuel Weidelich and Margaret Weidelich; his siblings, Arthur, Klara, Oscar, Leopold, Hugo and Klaus; and his son-in-law Werner Rienas.

He is survived by: his wife Berta Gabert; his children, Gerhard, Brigitte, Gabi and Inge; and his children-in-law, Kathy, Michael and Darren. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedarview Community Church (1000 Gorham St, Newmarket, ON L3Y1L8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Aurora Cemetery (14253 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G0P2).
