He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth (Knowles); and his parents, Norman F. Johnson and Ada Kerr. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer (Tim Marta), John (Kathryn Irwin), Bruce (late Lisa Rosen) and Bud (Laurie Simpson); his grandchildren, David, Cora, Chase, Jack, Sarah, Jeffrey, Russell and Kristin; and his great grandchildren, Alice, Caleb, Robin, Nolan and Lily.
