She was predeceased by: her parents, Wray Wood and Marion Wood; her brother Donald; and her former husband Douglas. She is survived by: her children, Kimberley (Denis Biro), Stephanie (Martin Morris) and Bradley Hedger (Anna); her grandchildren, Skylar, Adam, Maxwell, Lillian, Bruce and MacKenzie; and her brothers, Allan (Gina) and Carl Wood (Lynda).
In honour of Bernice's long and courageous battle with cancer, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Bernice's name to the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
