She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean and Wesley; her siblings-in-law, Diane Sabrowski, Murray Long and Murray McCourt; and also David Whitney.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Long; her children, Deb Wilson (Ron) of Atwood, Tom Long (Julie) of Barrie and Jim Long (Barbara) of Oakville; her grandchildren, Amanda, Becky Wilson, Hannah Wiegand (Marco), Eric, Andrew and Annika Long; her brother Jim Whitney (Linda); and her siblings-in-law, Faye Whitney, Marion Knoblauch (Lloyd), Joyce Spence (Jim), Susan Martin (Robert), Carol Gurr (Kevin), Elizabeth Long, David Long (Francis) and Donald Long (Wanda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Elma Memorial Community Centre (251 Main St, Atwood, ON N0G1B0).
