He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Shiell (Felker); his son Bob Shiell; his parents, Robert Shiell and Isabel Shiell (Cleland); and his siblings, Alfred, Harry, Glen Shiell, Catherine Adams (James), Muriel Neilson (Dave) and Verna Wallace (Stewart).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Lucas (Garry), Linda Moir (Dave) and Vicki Graci (Charlie); his grandchildren, Mike (Katie), Pam, Krista, Giovanna and Angelo; his great grandchildren, Jamie (Vanessa), Jessica, Henry, Emmett and Tracy; his great great grandchild Nathaniel; his sister Marie Fleet (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Shiell, Ivan Felker (Carol) and Susie Querengesser (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
