He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Darroch and Verna Darroch (McKnight); his siblings, Glen and Audrey; his wife Myrta Buchanan; and his grandson Alex.
He is survived by: his brother Gerald; his grandchildren, Chad, Christopher (Matthew Lichti) and Melissa (Scott Darroch); and his great grandchildren, Bennett, Cora and Colton Lichti.
