He was predeceased by: his wife Petronella Tegenbosch (Nellie); and his parents, Andrianus Tegenbosch and Hendrika Tegenbosch. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Whaley (Dennis Horton), Chris (Christine) and Joanne Vink (Wim); and his grandchildren, Carolyn (Brad), Natalie, Jessica (Randy), Janine (Jim), Nick (Vera), Ian, Emily, Curtis, Florentina and William.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to The Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation are appreciated by the family.
