He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kennedy and Mary Kennedy (Sheppard); his wife Kathy Kennedy; his brother Keith; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Atkinson and Don Gordon.
He is survived by: his pet Max; his daughters, Heather Kennedy (David Steven), Sandra Kennedy (Don McCourt) and Nadine Kennedy; his grandchildren, Nicole and Joel Coleman; his great grandchild Jace; his grandchildren, Morgan Ament, Travis, Caitlinn Bowman and Holly Bowman; and his sisters, Janet Atkinson, Doris Gordon, Marilyn (Jack Goodyear) and Mary (Kent Krueger). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
