He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Heinrich and Elizabeth; and his brother Rudy. He is survived by: his sons, Ed (Karen) and Clint (Dana); his grandson Brady; and his sister Else (Reg). He is also survived by was born in a German settlement in Poland and came to Canada in 1948 with his brother and sister and lived with his aunts, uncles and cousins.
