It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Riemersma (Athens, Ontario), who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Smith and Lorraine Rocky. She is survived by: her husband Peter Riemersma; her children, Connie Adair (Robin) of Brockville, Peter Jr. (Janet) of Brockville, Wendy Spafford (Gord) of Lindsay and Natalie Heffernan (Mike) of Mallorytown; her grandchildren, Melisa Adair-MacNeil (Dan), Kurt, Konor, Kaleb Riemersma, Hayley, Skylar Spafford and Brittany Heffernan; and her siblings, Stewart Smith (Sharon) of Escott, Leslie Smith (Joanne) of Brockville, Marie Smith (Larry Stacey) of Lansdowne and Donna Tackaberry of Charleston Lake.
A Celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at St. Luke's Cemetery, Ballycanoe, on Wednesday July 29th at 11 a.m. In memoriam's to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
