She is survived by: her husband Merton Simpson; her son Kenneth Simpson (Jacqueline) of Seattle; her grandchildren, Kaia and Nicola Simpson; her brother Cecil Earl of Athens; her niece Karen Earl; and her nephew Robert Earl.
