He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Stanford; and his parents, Harold Stanford and Mabel Jennie Carl. He is survived by: his spouse Lois Stanford (Schroeder); his children, Lianne Stanford (Paul Crush) of Cambridge, Clarke Stanford (Vanessa Henton) of Barrie, Kiersta Stubbs (Michael) of St. Thomas, Stephen Schroeder, Brenda Schroeder and Douglas Schroeder; his grandchildren, Kyleigh Stubbs, Jack Stubbs, Abby Stanford, Ryan Stanford and Frances Crush; and his siblings, Belva Stanford-Cousens (Jack Wylie) of Ottawa and Bob Stanford (Shirley) of Brockville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
