John Spence Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Spence of Athens, Ontario, who passed away on September 11, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Spence to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Spence and Rhea Spence (Mullen); his sisters, Helen Galway (Glenn), Marion Foxton (Ray) and Forda Licht (Bob); his brother-in-law Frank Johnston; and his parents-in-law, Ben and Ruth Cameron.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Kelly Watson (Greg) and Penny Almeida (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Paige, Rebecca, Logan, Troy and Cassandra; his great grandchildren, Madden, Diego and Jensen; his siblings, Anna Johnston and Wayne Spence; and his brother-in-law Dale Cameron (Vicki). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A Family Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. In memory of John, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the C.H.E.O. or University Hospitals Kingston Foundation – Providence Care (Dr. Karen Smith Rehab Neuromuscular Clinic) would be appreciated by the family.
