He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Barbara Wright; his brothers, Robert Wright of Kanata and Don Wright of Lennoxville, Quebec.; and his parents, Harrison Wright and Edna Scott.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug of Athens and Alan Wright of Athens; his close friend Peggy Stenvers; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Wright, Betty Wright and Doreen Chomyszyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
