It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Bouwers (Athens, Ontario), who passed away on May 13, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail Bouwers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Susan Westendorp (Harold) and Jane Smid; and her grandchildren, Sara Dijkema and Joshua Bouwers. She is survived by: her spouse Henk Bouwers; her children, Shirley Ann Benton (Bruce), Jane Louise Dijkema (Clarence), John Henry Bouwers (Geraldine), Judy Gail Hamilton (John) and David William Bouwers (Lisa); and her siblings, Jessie Reuvers (Henk), Nelly Morgan, Theresa Zandbergen (John), Peter Beerda (Rita) and Tom Beerda. She is also survived by grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Gail, to the Heritage Community Christian School will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
