He was predeceased by: his son Darrell Cole of Prescott; his parents, Oscar Cole and Hazel Gertrude Holmes; and his brother Garnet Cole of Rocksprings. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn VanderVelde of Brockville, Gwen Migdal of Kemptville, Steven Cole of Athens, Wayne Cole, Ronald Cole of Brockville, Dale Cole (Audrey) and Pauline Cole of Brockville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
