In loving memory of Elaine (Mackie) Ireland (Athens, Ontario), who departed this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Glenn Ireland; her daughter Shelley Ireland; her siblings, Eldon Mackie, Basil Mackie and Phyllis Wilson; and her parents, Francis Mackie and Vera Greenham.
She is survived by: her child Shawn Ireland; her grandchildren, Mallory Manser, Blake Snider, Kristin Ireland (Mike Knight) and Jessica Ireland (Brad Chant); her daughter-in-law Irene Ireland (Sandy Skalin); and her sister-in-law Winona Ireland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lake Line Lodge (782 Cedar Park Ln, Athens, ON K0E1B0).
For those wishing to make a donation, The Charleston Lake Fireworks Committee or the Charleston Lake Association, will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
