It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Margaret Hewitt (Athens, Ontario), who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Hewitt (Alvin); her daughter Margo of Jong; her siblings, Donald Greaves and Lorraine Eastman; and her parents, Horace Greaves and Velma Grace Hisey.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hewitt and Marc Hewitt (Anna); her grandchildren, Jenna of Jong, Trevor Hewitt, Emma Hewitt and Kathleen Hewitt; and her nephews, Kevin Greaves and Wayne Durnan.
Donations to The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Donations are being accepted in memory of Dorothy.
