He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Mourik and Lentink Van Mourik; and his brothers, Frits, Jaap, Joop, Bertus and Piet.
He is survived by: his wife Sanderina Van Mourik; his children, Catherine Reuvers (Gary), Jo-Ann Routledge (Terry) and Richard Van Mourik (Angela); his grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Nicole, Lyndsay, Michelle, Valerie, Alyssa, Michaela, Connor, Sarah, Jackson, Zoe and Payton; his sister-in-law Audrey Berends; and his siblings, Jan, Henk, Koos and Feike.
