He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Henderson and Lena Henderson (Checkley); his brother Harold (Mabel Henderson); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Jackson, John Rennie and Lillian Rose.

He is survived by: his children, David Henderson (Brenda) and Gina Henderson (Judy Robertson); his stepchildren, Jim Gregson (Phyllis), Maureen Lewis (Ron) and Bonnie Bellerose (Rick); his grandchildren, Pam, Michael, Tom, Allison, Tiffany, Charlie, Tyler, Kate, Sam, Audrey, Cara and Brent; his siblings, Jean Jackson, Alma Rennie, Stewart and Phyllis Henderson; and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Shirley Shaw, Karen Davison, David Benedict (Lynda), John Benedict and Dave Rose. He is also survived by his fifteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
