He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Angelique Hunter; his children, Hayden, Cohen, Avah, Lydia, Aleksander and Keaton; his parents, Faye Dzikewich of Guelph and Ray Schofield of West Grey; his siblings, Logan Gaines and Emily Schofield; his grandmother Victoria Justin; his aunts and uncles, Dan MacKenzie, Cara Whynot, Pam Chambers, Bill, Nicole Chambers, Albert Chambers, Gina Chambers, Theresa, John Woodhouse, Cathy Schofield, Vickie Ballah, Ron Schofield, Norman Schofield, Marlene Preddy and Bobby Schofield; and his grandmother Rita Chambers. He was also cherished by his many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
