Mathew Chuckrey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathew Chuckrey (Arthur, Ontario), who passed away on May 16, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Thomas; his siblings, William, Fred, Peter, Lena, Frieda, Chris, Anne and Irene; and his son-in-law Dennis Tackney.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Diane Groulx (Andre), Jane Tackney, Glenna Baraskewich (Mike), Janine Lewkoski and Scott (Tracy); his grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Jill Cheyne (Kevin), Patrick, Erin Venn (Mike), Lindsay Tuuttila (Mark), Jared, Ethan, Cory-Lynn, Mathew and Ryan; his brother Niel; and also Meadow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a grave side service officiated by Reverend Ken Moffat and Reverend D. Van Dyk at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:30pm followed by a reception at West Arthur Community Centre, 1914 W. Arthur St. Donations to TBRHSC - Neurological Unit would be greatly appreciated.
