She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Douglas and Helen Douglas; and her siblings, Ruth and Jim Douglas. She is survived by: her husband David Slater of Kenilworth; her children, Doug, Bernice Smith of Waterloo, Cathy and Steve Elliott of Fergus; and her grandchildren, Gregory, Adam Smith, Michael and Danielle Elliott.
