He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne Hewitson; his parents, Edward Hewitson and Dorothy Hewitson; and his parent-in-law Gail Herriot. He is survived by: his children, Jason, Karen Hewitson of Guelph, Crystal Hewitson of Arthur, Adam of Arthur, Travis Hewitson of Arthur and Johnathan Hewitson of Arthur; his grandchildren, Alissa, Braiden, Chloe, Michaela, Savannah, Presley, Emily and MacKenzie; his siblings, Bonnie (Jim McQuillin), Sharon (Leo Cozzarin), Colleen (Bill Gray), Don (Rose Hewitson), Laurie Brohman (Dan), Brenda Hewitson, Ted (Carla Hewitson) and Terry (Carrie Hewitson); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Herriot, Ruth of Arthur and Lisa Herriot of Arthur. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
