He was predeceased by: his brothers, Keith and Lloyd (Marie); and his parents, Leonard Laventure and Pearl Laventure (Hamilton). He is survived by: his children, Brian Box (Nicole), Debbie Laventure, Lou Laventure (Linda) and Cathy Laventure (Scott); his grandchildren, Rick (Stacey), Kim, Kaylie (Tak), Jason (Kristina), Jonathan, Naomi (Shane), Leonard, Lance (Kayla), Nicole, James (Sarah) and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Lindsay, Jacob, Hiroshi, Tanner and Teagan; his sister Karen Anderson of Calgary; and his niece Diana Trainor (Bob) of Kingston. He is also survived by his step-children and their families and many nieces and nephews.
