Verda Desarmia Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2018, at the age of 89, Verda Desarmia (Arnprior, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Hugh Desarmia; her parents, Leslie Scheel and Esther Scheel (Woermke); and her siblings, Garnet Scheel (late Margaret), Milton Scheel (late Lillian), Ada Lapierre (late Tony), Marlyn Green (late Gerry), Eunice Gardiner (late Dave) and Dorian Fairfield (late Buck).
She is survived by: her child Deborah Olmstead (Terence) of Arnprior; her grandchildren, Shannon Mooney (Dallas) of Renfrew and Derek Olmstead of Calgary; her great grandchildren, Holly Mooney and Carly Mooney; her sibling Adele Tourangeau (Gib) of Arnprior; her sisters-in-law, Fay Kerr (Clayton) of Ottawa and Sylvia Desarmia (late Mel) of Arnprior; and her sister Verda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Verda, a donation to the First Baptist Church, Arnprior or the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program would be appreciated.
