She was predeceased by: her husband Manford Brydges; her parents, John William Frank and Dolly Haybecker; and her siblings, Reta, Dorothy Korolew (Paul), John, James, Fred, Walter (Dorothy) and Bill (late Nancy).
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Ellis (Todd) of Ottawa and David Brydges (Linda) of Arnprior; her grandson Mitchell Brydges; and her close friends, Eric Obst and Manny.
As per the restrictions regarding COVID-19, a limited amount of people are permitted at the funeral home at one time.
In memory of Vera, a donation may be made to the Arnprior and District Humane Society.
