She was predeceased by: her father John Douglas; and her brother Neil Shanks. She is survived by: her child Ashley Metcalfe (Brandon Chisholm); her significant other Ray Freamo; her mother Elma Douglas; her brothers, Douglas Shanks and Terence Shanks (Lynette); her close friend Cheryl Baker (Glen Bowes); and her former husband Dave Metcalfe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Little Brown Church (5363 River Rd, Renfrew, ON K7V3Z8).
